Big Important Update (08/25):

  • I have fixed the bug that made the webGL player freeze and made the game basically unplayable. It works now! :D I've included Windows executable as well. I prefer you play the web version because that version is closest to my submission before the deadline.
  • If you have already voted, you are free to change your vote or keep it as is.

Controls:

Please play in full screen in the web.

You're an ex-monster, and now a one-octopus postal service employed by some mysterious boss. Complete the deliveries without too much destruction.

  • Press and hold the 1,2,3, and 4 keys (on your alphanumeric keyboard, not the numpad) to activate the corresponding tentacle.
  • Use WASD to move.
  • Drag the mouse to move an activated tentacle.
  • Left click to make objects stick/unstick to an activated tentacle.

Info:

Hello all! This is my entry for Miz Jam 1! I'm not a part of the Miziziziz community, but I saw the premise of this jam and though it was interesting. It's officially my fourth game and my third game jam. The game itself is small, but I hope you enjoy.

I may continue developing this after the jam, so I appreciate helpful ways to make it better, like bug catches or game design ideas. I'm also keeping track of any known bugs  to help in case you get stuck. Overall, thanks! :)

Known Bugs (to help your through if you get stuck):

  • Highlighting tentacles will only work in the Windows executables.
    • Active tentacles will highlight on the SECOND activation, and continue working afterwards.

I love this. The complex controls work really well, and mesh perfectly with the them.

Awe yeah I can't seem to play it. :c I had fun moving the little octopus though!
